About Us

Great Restaurants' four unique establishments serve up an eclectic assortment of culinary delights, yet they all share one major ingredient - experience.

Company principals, Joe Mosco and Rob Kash are an entrepreneurial team whose partnership began when they met as children in the second grade. Both Joe and Rob gained their initial introductions to "the biz" in restaurants owned by their respective families. They then went on to hold numerous positions in many different restaurants. After gaining plenty of on-the-job industry experience, the two were ready to use their extensive knowledge to create something entirely new on the dining scene in Freehold. They were quick to meet success.

In 1992, their first project, Cafe Coloré, redefined the words "Italian Restaurant" for area critics and diners alike. Two years later, in 1994, 75 South opened its doors and gave Freehold its first taste of upscale, gourmet fare. Both restaurants have since been sold on.

Joe and Rob's third venture, Metropolitan Cafe, is quickly proving to be a charm. A totally new concept in dining, this "American Bistro" has it all - from Martinis to Sushi.

Most recently, Joe and Rob introduced another unique place to dine to the area with the opening of Nonna's. This family style Italian restaurant features large platters of food designed for sharing, a full service bar and a bakery brimming with delicious desserts.

Even with four successful restaurants to their names, Joe and Rob continue to look for new ways to break ground in the restaurant industry. The two frequently explore establishments both far and wide gaining new ideas to bring home to their guests.

Together with their expert and highly-valued staff members, they continually experiment and learn about all the facets of the industry so that both their present and future restaurants can remain ahead of the rest.
